Located on the site of Sharnbrook Academy, Meridian House is a bespoke provision for students who are enrolled at either Lincroft Academy, Sharnbrook Academy or The Ferrers School. Our mission is to inspire, educate and guide the next generation towards brighter futures through delivery of bespoke, impactful programs tailored to specific needs
The aim of Meridian House is to:
Meet the particular needs of identified students in a small school setting, embracing positive relationships;
Reduce preventable suspensions and exclusions;
Improve the quality of education for students who have experienced ongoing difficulty in their main school setting;
Deliver on the vision and ambition that our students leave school with the skills, values, aptitudes and capabilities necessary to realise their full potential and allow them to fully contribute to society.
The logo of Meridian House, integrates our Trust logo and represents the four key aspects of our work with students: Curriculum, Community, Currency and Courage. Each aspect contributes to how students move through the school to develop into responsible, young adults.
Our curriculum is designed to be flexible, to meet individual needs and ensure our students are ready for P16 education, training or apprenticeships. We aim to work with the student to get the best academic and personal outcomes for their life. Each student at Meridian House is valued as an individual and supported for their personal and academic learning.
