Our values and culture are an essential part of Meridian House life, seen in our values, pillars and ethos, embedded in all we do. These are supported by our Trust PLEDGES, Meridian House 50 Things to do before 15 and 3/4 and our integrated CREW culture across staff and students.

We believe our culture contributes to a strong learning environment that enhances achievement and develops learners social, emotional and relationship skills. Not only are the values held in high regard, acknowledged and celebrated in the learners, but they are modelled by the staff throughout. This also gives learners the opportunity to discover hidden talents.

Students are expected to strive to achieve some of the PLEDGES and 50 Things whilst at Meridian House.  PLEDGES is a trust awards system which offers a range of opportunities, suitable to each school. It aims to widen the boundaries of learning, striving to encourage and support many important qualities, such as responsibility, leadership and citizenship. Each crucial for ensuring  our students are ready for the next stage in their education, training or employment and have aspirational futures.
