Equally important is not simply pastoral care to support pupils through Meridian House, but pastoral learning, which equips students with perspectives and expectations around the behaviours central to their success and happiness at Meridian House and in their future lives. Small-group curriculum
We provide a small group environment for all our taught curriculum.
Supported core teaching
Staffing allows supported small group teaching in core subjects.
1:1 learning
Individual 1:1 lessons are built into every student’s timetable.
Careers planning
Individual careers planning is integrated into the curriculum.
Real-world experience
Weekly work experience is planned for Year 10 and Year 11, often leading to vocational placements in Post 16.
Accredited pathways
The academic curriculum is carefully planned to meet needs and is accredited with national GCSE and BTEC qualifications.
